Hello! My name is Venessa May F, and I am an experienced female carer in search of a new role. With a background in home care, I have developed a deep passion for assisting individuals in maintaining their independence and quality of life.
Over the years, I have gained substantial experience in caring for various conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound individuals, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression. I understand the unique challenges that come with each of these conditions and am dedicated to providing the best possible care to ensure the comfort and well-being of my clients.
One of the advantages I bring to the table is my ability to drive, as I possess a valid driver's license and have my own car. This allows me to not only attend to the needs of my clients at home but also accompany them to appointments or outings if required. Safety and reliability are of utmost importance to me.
My skill set includes bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. This comprehensive range of skills enables me to provide holistic care to individuals with diverse needs. Moreover, my friendly and caring nature helps foster a warm and trusting relationship with those I work with.
In my personal life, I enjoy various hobbies such as walking, dancing, decorating, gardening, and knitting. These activities bring me joy and help provide balance in my life, ensuring that I approach my caregiving duties with a positive and enthusiastic mindset.
Additionally, I am open to caring for clients who have pets. I have a fondness for animals and can comfortably handle the responsibility of caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds.
My motivation for being a carer stems from a deep desire to help people lead independent lives.
